Project record

Business context

Contract review rarely happens in one clean system. Requests arrived by email, documents lived in Word, status was remembered by people, and counterparty redlines kept changing the shape of the work.

Goldwind needed the work to stay close to the tools people already used, while becoming easier to track, route, and control.

System delivered

A structured intake path, a SharePoint source of truth, and automated routing to internal reviewers — built on Microsoft 365, Power Automate, and Power Apps.

AI assistance through Copilot for review preparation, document comparison, and summarisation, applied as narrow jobs inside the workflow.

The hard part

The process could not be replaced — it had to be instrumented. The system wraps existing tools and habits rather than asking a legal team to move somewhere new.

Human controls

Legal keeps ownership of templates, exceptions, and final approval gates. Unusual terms route back to accountable owners instead of being hidden by automation.
